Tokens

Eight token categories form the spine of Kvalt's design language.

Token sources live at src/tokens/<category>.ts in your project once you install — or fetch them live from the registry below. The MCP server also exposes them as parsed JSON via the get_token and list_tokens tools.

What each category covers

• motion — springs, durations, easings, semantic transitions (feedback, reveal, dismiss…)
• colors — CSS-variable-backed semantic colors with light/dark variants
• typography — font families, sizes, line heights, letter spacing scales
• shadows — elevation tokens for cards, modals, popovers
• glass — backdrop-filter recipes for translucent surfaces
• icons — sizing scale, stroke weights, the lucide-react integration shape
• borderRadius — radius scale paired with the spacing system
• gradients — named gradient compositions for backgrounds and accents
